Unforeseen Consequences

They’re turning on the LHC for the first time tomorrow, the Large Hadron Collider. They’re telling us that nothing will go wrong, but you know what? That guy in the back there looks super fucking familiar. Didn’t we see him at the Black Mesa Christmas party, right before everything went all pear-shaped and head-crabbed?

Seriously, though, they turn this thing on tomorrow, it’s been a huge project between so much of the scientific community, and it could really help us understand physics so much more. Hell, it could make a tiny black hole, and you mofos know how I feel about black holes.That said, I’m going to the hardware store tonight and picking me up one of these:

“We have to go back!”

Last night, before shit went pear-shaped, I watched this new Lost season 4 trailer, tearing up everytime, thinking that there was no way my life could ever be as dramatic as this show.

Turns out I was mistaken. That said, today I’ve watched it another ten times, just because being trapped on an island with a smoke monster seems like heaven right now.
